Challenge:

A data center construction project in Nevada, supported by United Rentals, turned to POWR2’s POWRBANK mobile battery energy storage systems (BESS) to reduce fuel consumption, lower emissions, and improve overall efficiency for jobsite office power.

United Rentals deployed two POWRBANK XPRO 90kVA/120kW/400V mobile battery energy storage systems, paired with a 180kVA diesel generator, to power the office trailer at the data center construction jobsite.

Results:

With two POWRBANK XPRO mobile BESS deployed alongside a diesel generator, the customer was able to cut generator runtime from 24/7 operation to just 3 hours per day for battery recharging.
